We are fortunate to have two of their key staff attending the show both of whom will be able to answer all your questions on selection and long term care of Simms products. Steve will give a casting demonstration over the weekend and Tom will hold a seminar on maintenance and repair of Simms waders.

Been fishing since I learned to walk, got my first flyrod at the age 12 from my father. Life pretty much changed at that moment and have been fishing ever since. Favorite game is dryfly and trout, but love chasing salmon, bonefish and permit as well. Run my own flyfishing tackle shop before I got hired by FFE late 2006. Did a lot of flycasting classes and flytying classing during the years I run the shop. I built the FFE repair center late 2006/ early 2007 and was the first person in Europe who was trained by the Simms staff to do repairs.
Now I work as the Customer Service Manager and Repair Center Supervisor at FFE. I step in the repair center to help repair Scott flyrods when necessary. Will be at the show to promote Simms, Scientific Anglers flylines and Scott flyrods. Will also show people how to do easy self-repairs and teach how to best care and maintenance Simms gear to prolong the life of the products.
Steve Peterson AAPGAI Master Trout & Salmon FFF CCI
Fishing was always going to be more than just a hobby for Steve who stated fishing at around six years old and by the age of sixteen was attending Sparsholt College in Hampshire to study fishery management. A twelve year spell working on a trout fishery followed and this is where Steve was able to study fish ,their habitat and fly casting in particular. Steve has been a qualified instructor for nineteen years and has worked for both Sportfish and Hardy & Greys Ltd.
Steve has recently joined Fly Fish Europe as sales representative for the UK and Ireland and will be happy to offer advice on Simms products or take you for a test cast of any new Scott fly rod.
